Description
Cardiovascular disease (CVD)—a leading cause of death and leading driver of health care costs—disproportionately affects certain demographic and socioeconomic groups. Neighborhood redevelopment may impact health outcomes and access to resources. The study will examine the relationship between neighborhood redevelopment and CVD-related health disparities using a natural experiment, qualitative analysis, and micro-simulation and systems dynamics modeling in the Bronx, NY.
