Description
This NIH SBIR/STTR grant supports a project aiming to complete IND-enabling experiments to advance a novel glioblastoma treatment using oncolytic Zika virus into clinical trials. The project addresses the challenges of treating glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), a highly aggressive brain tumor with poor prognosis, by utilizing neurotropic viruses that can cross the blood-brain barrier and specifically target GBM cells.
