Description
This project aims to understand how sleep and sleep disruption influence the nanoscale organization of synaptic proteins, which regulate synaptic function and plasticity. Using stimulated emission depletion (STED) nanoscopy, the study will visualize synaptic nanoarchitecture in mouse brain slices, focusing on excitatory and inhibitory synapses in the primary visual cortex.
