Description

This project aims to evaluate the efficacy of a tailored intervention, “PrEPare for Work,” designed to increase PrEP uptake and adherence among male sex workers through a two-stage randomized controlled trial in Providence, RI, and Los Angeles County. The intervention is based on Social Cognitive Therapy principles, focusing on self-efficacy and self-regulation, and includes strength-based case management, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy-informed counseling, and personalized text reminders.
