Description
This project is a collaboration between SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (Brooklyn, NY), the University of Ibadan (Ibadan, Nigeria), and the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago). It aims to examine differences in clinical presentation, health outcomes, and treatment responses among patients with psychotic disorders around the world, focusing on the Global South. The study includes whole genome sequencing and comparative analyses with US-based and international studies, supporting trainees and expanding research infrastructure.
