Description
This project aims to develop a theranostic peptide targeting MUC1, overexpressed in 94% of TNBC cases, for both imaging and radionuclide therapy. Objectives include developing MUC1 targeted peptides suitable for clinical translation, determining mechanism and specificity of peptide binding, optimizing peptide stability and affinity, radiolabeling promising peptides, analyzing binding and biodistribution in TNBC models, advancing the most promising peptide to therapeutic studies, and conducting preliminary safety assessments.
