Description
The Community College Consortium for Health and Safety Training, sponsored by the National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education, will provide disaster site response training and education to improve preparedness for hazardous materials disasters. The project includes annual 40-hour instructor training at the National Preparedness Institute, Indian River State College, Florida, and training for community college and alternative/technical high school students, volunteers, and first responders.
