Research project studying the daily impact of alcohol use on intimate partner violence among bisexual young adults, aiming to identify intervention targets related to stress and partner support.

Description

This project aims to examine the daily experiences of bisexual (bi+) young adults and their partners, focusing on the association between alcohol use and intimate partner violence (IPV). It will identify modifiable intervention targets such as bi+ specific stress and partner support, using a 60-day daily diary approach with 50 bi+ young adults and their partners. The study will explore how alcohol use influences IPV perpetration on days with varying stress and support levels, and compare different dyad types to inform future interventions.
