Description

This preclinical study aims to develop a vaccine to prevent breast cancer in women with germline BRCA1/2 mutations. The approach involves genomic characterization of preneoplastic breast tissue to identify neoantigens from chimeric mRNA, coupled with bioinformatics prediction of immunogenic peptides. The project includes validation of peptides, testing in a transgenic mouse model, and elucidation of immuno-preventive mechanisms.
