This award funds Core C at Mount Sinai to provide advanced genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenetics services focused on skin biology and disease. It supports researchers with state-of-the-art technologies and expertise to advance skin research.
Description
Core C will provide state-of-the-art start-to-finish technologies for genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenetic analysis of the skin in normal homeostasis and in disease. It leverages existing campus resources and expertise to support the SBDRC Research Community at Mount Sinai. Services include consultation and access to NexGen technologies such as exome sequencing, whole genome sequencing, RNA-seq, epigenomic studies, single cell technologies, and spatial transcriptomics. The Core aims to facilitate scientific discoveries in skin biology and disease by providing cutting-edge multi-omics studies.
