Description

This CDA-2 proposal will refine and pilot SUPPORT, a peer-delivered, suicide-focused, integrated recovery program tailored for Veterans with serious mental illnesses to enhance recovery following a suicidal crisis. The project will examine feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy of SUPPORT in improving recovery, reducing suicidal ideation, and enhancing Veteran functioning. This is the first step toward developing a research program within VHA focused on improving suicide-related care for Veterans with serious mental illness.
