Scope: Removal of Old & Obsolete Sliding Blast Doors: The existing doors must be disassembled, safely disconnected from any power sources, and properly disposed of, along with all associated hardware and materials. . 1.Preparation and Safety Measures - Conduct an initial site assessment to evaluate the doors and surrounding area. - Establish appropriate safety barriers and signage to secure the work area and ensure the safety of staff and visitors. - Verify the disconnection of all electrical power to the sliding doors and confirm de-energization before proceeding. 2. Removal of Sliding Doors - Carefully disassemble the sliding doors, cutting them into manageable sections as needed for safe removal - Disconnect and cap off any electrical connections in compliance with local codes and standards - Remove all materials, including door tracks, frames, and associated hardware. 3.
