Description
This project aims to estimate exposure levels of respirable dust and ultrafine particles at several ready mix concrete plants, evaluate four NIOSH-approved N95 respirator models against these particles under different environmental conditions, and assess workers' perceptions of comfort in wearing different N95 respirator models to recommend the best options. The study will be conducted at several plants in Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida and addresses occupational respiratory disease reduction.
