Cooking Class 1: Fruit Parfaits Students will be able to build their own fruit cup/parfaits. They will be able to add granola and yogurt ands other healthy toppings as well. Learning the importance of each fruit and how to live a healthy lifestyle. Students will learn how to make these using dried nuts, granola, butter and to make it more fun, sprinkles.; Cooking Class 3: Taco Day Protein style tacos but garnished with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sauces etc. In this activity we will be using lean group beef as our protein. All utensils and ingredients will be provided; Cooking Class 4: Eating the Rainbow Salad bar style. Students will be helping to wash and set up the salad bar as well as creating their own salad bowl. They will learn the importance of each vegetable and what it contributes to your body. We will be using chicken breast as our source of protein
