Description
This project aims to evaluate if plant-based enteral nutrition (PBEN) is superior to artificial enteral nutrition (AEN) in restoring the balance between myelopoiesis and lymphopoiesis during recovery from antibiotic-induced bone marrow suppression and to test if microbial production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) mediates immune recovery in critically ill patients.
