Purchase of Two Current Model New and Unused Triplex Riding Greens Mowers

The City of McAllen is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase of two new triplex riding greens mowers. Bids must be submitted by December 1, 2016, and include a bidder's bond or cashier's check of at least 5% of the total bid. Bids will be publicly opened at McAllen City Hall.

Description

Sealed bids addressed to Mr. Roel “Roy” Rodriguez, P.E., City Manager, City of McAllen, will be received on December 1, 2016 until 3:00 p.m., at which time they will be taken to Conference Room 2A (2nd Floor) of McAllen City Hall and publicly opened and read aloud. Bids (both electronic & paper copy) must be in the City of McAllen’s possession on or before the aforementioned date and time (no late bids will be accepted). It shall be mandatory that a Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified cashier's check, payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five (5) percent (%) of the total bid, shall accompany the bid as a guaranty that the bidder will comply with all specifications and delivery date. Bidders are required to go online to the Bidding Portal: www.ebidexchange.com/mcallen for project details. Bids are to be submitted electronically and in paper copy.
