Description
The project aims to investigate the relationship between adipose tissue distribution and Alzheimer's disease pathology, leveraging PET/CT imaging, blood samples, and cerebrospinal fluid collected from a clinical trial involving middle-aged and older adults with amnestic mild cognitive impairment. The study will analyze changes in adipose tissue depots, metabolic activity, and biomarkers, including the addition of tau PET imaging, to better understand the crosstalk between adipose tissue and the brain.
