Description

The proposed research will determine the utility of electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve for remediating neurobiological and cognitive impairments in aging, as well as Alzheimer's disease-like neuropathology. This work will provide the foundation for using vagus nerve stimulation as a therapy for treating age-related cognitive impairments.
