Description
This project investigates the quantitative and qualitative contribution of mesothelial-derived cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) to the pancreatic tumor microenvironment and their functional role in disease progression of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA). The study aims to characterize sources of CAF heterogeneity and identify novel approaches to target tumor-promoting properties of CAFs in PDA.
