Description
A randomized trial to evaluate a behavioral intervention called EASE, based on written exposure therapy, to help adults with advanced cancer reduce fear of progression and cancer-related trauma symptoms. The trial compares EASE delivered via telehealth with usual care in a 2-arm randomized design with 250 participants. Outcomes include fear of progression, trauma symptoms, anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and quality of life, assessed post-intervention and at follow-up. The intervention is offered in English and Spanish to increase access and scalability.
