Description

The Transitional Residential Home Services program provides temporary transitional housing and supportive services for Non-Minor Dependents (NMDs) ages 18 to 21, who are child welfare dependents of the Social Services Agency (SSA) and/or wards of the Orange County Probation Department. The program assists NMDs in transitioning from foster care or probation placements to independent living by providing safe, stable housing and supportive services designed to foster self-sufficiency. Supportive services include independent living planning, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, as well as educational and employment advocacy.
