Mental Health Support Services for City Of Avondale Staff, Partners, And Residents Seeking Services Out of the Arizona Complete Health Avondale Resource Center

The City of Avondale, Arizona, has entered into a professional services agreement with Southwest Behavioral & Health Services, Inc., a Phoenix-based non-profit organization, to provide mental health support services at the Arizona Complete Health Avondale Resource Center. The contract includes professional development training, crisis intervention services, and staff coaching/consultation services aimed at City staff, partners, and residents. Southwest Behavioral & Health Services will hire one Master Level Clinician to deliver onsite crisis intervention, counseling, and staff coaching, supported by the Dr. Bob Bohanske Center for Clinical Excellence Training Institute which will provide various professional development courses such as Exceptional Customer Service, Front Desk Safety, De-escalation, Mental Health First Aid, and Trauma Informed Care. The contract specifies culturally and linguistically appropriate services, including Spanish language support and interpreter services.
