Description
This project aims to improve triadic dementia care by characterizing communication during clinic visits and developing an intervention using visit recordings. The study involves audio recording of 200 triads (patients with dementia, care partners, clinicians) over 12 months, analyzing the data to identify barriers and enablers to effective communication, and redesigning the HealthPAL platform to enhance communication. The project will assess the usability, feasibility, and acceptability of the intervention.
