Description
Parental environmental influences such as diet affect energy metabolism in the next generation but the underlying mechanisms for such transgenerational epigenetic inheritance are not well-understood. The research investigates the role of the E3 ligase Rlim in paternal testicular Sertoli cells and its impact on offspring's response to high fat diet, aiming to uncover novel epigenetic mechanisms and establish a new paradigm for transgenerational epigenetic regulation.
