Description

This project aims to isolate and analyze a large set of E1E2-specific broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs) from individuals with spontaneous clearance of HCV, to inform structure-based vaccine design. It involves molecular and structural characterization of interactions between HCV envelope proteins and monoclonal antibodies capable of blocking diverse HCV variants, facilitating rational vaccine design against HCV and potentially other highly variable human viruses.
