Description
This project investigates the role of keratin 18 (Krt18) in skeletal muscle adaptation to exercise and its potential impact on sarcopenia and frailty with aging. The study aims to determine if Krt18 mediates adaptive strength gains following repeated bouts of eccentric contractions and if age-related loss of Krt18 expression is associated with blunted strength gains.
