Description

The study aims to identify biomarkers of response and resistance to immunotherapy and potentially new therapeutic targets for patients with brain metastases from breast cancer. It involves conducting Phase II trials, profiling DNA and RNA from cancer tissues, blood, and cerebrospinal fluid, and using cutting-edge single-cell technologies to understand resistance mechanisms. Mouse models will be used to test combination therapies, including CDK inhibition with immune checkpoint blockade, to uncover mechanisms of treatment failure and develop improved therapeutic strategies.
