Description
This project investigates how Salmonella biofilm components, particularly curli:DNA complexes containing Z-DNA, activate ZBP1 to induce RIPK3-dependent necroptosis, disrupting gut barrier integrity and leading to Reactive Arthritis (ReA). The study aims to elucidate the formation of Z-DNA within these complexes, the immune pathways involved, and evaluate RIPK3 inhibitors as potential therapeutics.
