Description
This project investigates the role of N6-methyladenosine (m6A) RNA modification and reader protein YTHDC1 in B cell development, antibody gene diversification, and genomic stability. The study aims to elucidate mechanisms by which m6A influences class switch recombination (CSR) and somatic hypermutation (SHM), processes critical for antibody diversity, and how these mechanisms prevent chromosomal instability and B cell cancers such as DLBCL and Multiple Myeloma.
