Description
The project aims to culturally adapt, implement, and evaluate a digital healthy relationship and violence prevention intervention called myPlan Teen among Native American adolescents aged 15-18 years residing on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana. The intervention, delivered via a secure web and mobile app, provides immediate access to information about healthy and unhealthy behaviors, safety strategies, and culturally relevant resources. Building on previous randomized controlled trials demonstrating its effectiveness in reducing violence and suicide behaviors, the study will further adapt the intervention with tribal input and evaluate its impact on health and safety outcomes in a sample of 550 Native American adolescents.
