Award for advanced molecular and genomic analysis techniques to support lung cancer research and clinical management, focusing on biomarker development and immune profiling.

Description

The Integrated Pathology and Genomics Core provides state-of-the-art analytic services for lung cancer samples, supporting diagnosis, treatment, and research. The core has contributed to major advances in lung cancer biology, including discoveries related to mutations in EGFR, ALK, ROS1, and MET. The project aims to continue this work using both standard-of-care and innovative technologies, such as customized allele-specific PCR assays, cyclic immunofluorescence, transcriptomics, and multiplexed ion beam imaging.
