Description

The County is seeking a Contractor to provide document process servers. The Multnomah County District Attorneys (MCDA) Support Enforcement Division (SED) is looking for a process server company that can serve legal documents. The MCDA SED is a grant-funded program operating under an agreement with the State of Oregon's Department of Justice. The current grant ends August 1, 2027. The awarded Contractor shall deliver court documents on behalf of Multnomah County, potentially within Oregon, out of state, and internationally. The Support Enforcement Division (SED) has budgeted approximately $60,000.00 annually up to August 1, 2027. The awarded Contractor must provide personnel trained in laws applicable to the service of process including Oregon Rules of Civil Procedures (ORCP) Summons Rule 7 and be responsible for ensuring compliance. The Contractor shall perfect process of service as assigned by the County, delivering court documents that establish paternity, order establishment, order revision, and other child support judicial processes.
