Description
This project aims to explore the patient-clinician relationship in fibromyalgia patients through EEG hyperscanning technology. The study will evaluate how Theory of Mind (ToM) training can enhance therapeutic alliance and pain outcomes following acupuncture treatment. The research will assess brain-to-brain connectivity during clinical interactions, focusing on regions such as the temporoparietal junction (TPJ) and anterior insula, which are linked to empathy and therapeutic alliance.
