Description
This project aims to investigate whether enhancing proteasomal activity, specifically targeting the 20S core, can delay retinal degeneration in mouse models of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). The study will assess genetic and pharmacologic strategies to activate the 20S proteasome, with the goal of developing therapeutic approaches for inherited blindness and other neurodegenerative diseases.
