Description
The Northern Regional Office has authorized issuance of a public utility easement 60-feet wide by approximately 210-feet long for the construction of a power and communication line on state land near Tok, Alaska. The easement is for Alaska Power & Telephone Company to provide power and telecommunication services to communities in Tok and Tanacross. The easement is located at the northern end of the former Tok Airport, northeast of milepost 122 of the Tok Cutoff, and directly southeast of its intersection with the Tetlin Trail. The easement is issued under AS 38.05.850 with an indefinite term until abandoned or no longer needed. The applicant must comply with conditions including payment of fees, insurance, performance guaranty, and survey requirements.
