Description
Research program using a model cell system, Staphylococcus aureus, to characterize polyunsaturated fatty acid autoxidation in cells, elucidate molecular determinants of lipid electrophile formation, and identify protein targets of lipid electrophiles to define molecular interactions driving diseases associated with inflammation and validate targets for future therapies.
