Description
The NYS Office of Mental Health is posting this notice of exemption as a result of receiving approval from the NYS Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) to enter into a single-source contract for support and maintenance of the OMH Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, VxVista. OMH is entering into this contract with Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS). This is a notice of intent to proceed with a single source award, not a solicitation for bids. Document Storage Systems, Inc. hosts NYS OMH's legacy electronic patient health record system. This system was replaced under NYS contract CM101807, which runs until 1/16/2037. This extension is solely for transition from the legacy system to the new system. The anticipated completion date is 7/31/28, with potential for extension if needed.
