Before taking any further action, go to www.sbac.edu, Purchasing Department, to determine whether you are subject to the fingerprinting and background screening requirement of the Act or are exempt from this process. Even if the Act's exemptions apply, you will still be subject to a search of your name against the registration information regarding sexual predators and sexual offenders maintained by the FDLE under s.943.043 and the national sex offender public registry maintained by the U.S. Department of Justice. By accepting this order, you swear and affirm under the penalty of perjury that you and all of your employees, agents, and sub-contractors will comply with the requirements of the Jessica Lunsford Act and SBAC's fingerprinting procedures. Failure to comply with these requirements constitute a material breach of this order, and SBAC may avail itself of all remedies pursuant to law. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the School Board, its officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims or causes of action, including without limitation those for personal injury, death, property damages, and attorney fees, arising out of or relating to your failure to comply with these requirements.
