Training Presentation: Effective Facilitation, Engagement, and Community Connections Dates of Training: One 3-Hour Training between April 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026 Audience: 15-25 LA County DMH directly operated CalWORKs clinical staff Scope of Work The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH) CalWORKs Mental Health Supportive Services seeks to provide a three (3) hour in-person training titled ?Effective Facilitation, Engagement, and Community Connections?. This training is designed to strengthen facilitation capacity among Fatherhood Champions within DMH and DMH staff by providing best-practice engagement strategies and a live demonstration of a ready-to-use Father Wellbeing Workshop. Participants will observe, analyze, and practice facilitation techniques that promote emotional safety, cultural responsiveness, and active participation among fathers. The training ensures staff can confidently deliver, adapt, and improve father-focused workshops within public mental health settings. Approximately 15?25 DMH staff from the Fatherhood Wellbeing Task Force, including clinicians, community mental health workers, and group facilitators responsible for implementing father-focused programming across County service areas will be trained. *** Invoices must be submitted electronically to our Accounts Payable Team via e-mail at APSVPUInquiries@dmh.lacounty.gov.
