Description
This project aims to uncover the role of neutrophils in the age-driven decline in vaccine efficacy against Streptococcus pneumoniae, the leading cause of community-acquired bacterial pneumonia in the elderly. The research will identify novel targets to boost memory responses in the elderly, enhancing understanding of how aging alters innate immune responses and adaptive memory responses to improve vaccine strategies for the elderly.
