The University of Colorado, Department of Campus Dining Services at the Boulder Campus is the buyer for this contract. The awarded vendor will supply fresh donuts to the University of Colorado Boulder Dining Center facilities, specifically delivering to the C4C (Center for Community) Bakery. The contract term is from June 1, 2018, through May 31, 2019, with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The vendor must provide donuts made from scratch or from donut mix, fried (not baked), delivered fresh within 6 hours, and comply with sanitation and quality standards. Delivery is required on an as-needed basis, typically 2-3 times per week, with orders usually ranging from 70-80 dozen donuts, and occasional smaller orders of 2-12 dozen. Delivery must be FOB Delivered Boulder Campus, with delivery cost included in the donut price. The vendor must supply nutritional information, ingredient lists, and allergen statements for all products. Delivery vehicles must be clean, refrigerated, and properly identified. The University reserves the right to inspect supplier premises and perform taste tests prior to award. The contract includes strict delivery and order requirements, including delivery by 5am, signed invoices, and adherence to University policies regarding delivery personnel conduct and identification. Sustainability efforts by the vendor are encouraged. The award will be made on an all-or-nothing basis to one firm based on the lowest total quoted price. The University reserves rights to modify quantities, cancel orders, and take remedial action if the vendor fails to meet contract requirements. The vendor must meet minimum qualifications including the ability to supply the required quality and quantity and make deliveries as scheduled.
