Description
The Research Education Component (REC) of the Columbia Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Alzheimer’s Disease Disparities (CIRAD) aims to provide training, funding, and mentoring to promote enduring careers and leadership in AD/ADRD research among early investigators, focusing on disparities in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The REC supports pilot studies, mentoring and leadership programs, and training in health disparities research, with partnerships including Columbia University, CUNY, and SUNY.
