The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), under the Arkansas State Highway Commission, Equipment and Procurement Division, issued a bid invitation for the purchase of multiple 1 Ton Crew Cab and Chassis vehicles with different engine types and drivetrain configurations. The awarded products include: (1) 7 units of 1 Ton Crew Cab and Chassis, Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission, 2WD (ARDOT Spec. 23-52-024), (2) 6 units of 1 Ton Crew Cab and Chassis, Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission, 4WD (ARDOT Spec. 23-52A-024), (3) 3 units of 1 Ton Crew Cab and Chassis, Diesel Engine, Automatic Transmission, 4WD (ARDOT Spec. 23-57-020), (4) 2 units of Extended Cab and Chassis, Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission, 60" CA (ARDOT Spec. 23-30-020), (5) 1 unit of Standard Cab and Chassis, Diesel Engine, Automatic Transmission, 4WD (ARDOT Spec. 23-29-020), and (6) 2 units of Cab and Chassis, 19,000 GVWR, Diesel Engine, Automatic Transmission, 60" CA (ARDOT Spec. 23-45-023). All vehicles are to be delivered to ARDOT Equipment and Procurement Division at 11302 West Baseline Road, Little Rock, AR 72209. The contract includes requirements for manufacturer warranties, delivery, service, and compliance with ARDOT specifications. Unique contract requirements include submission of Eligible Bidder Certification, Disclosure Forms, Restriction of Boycott of Israel Certification, and Illegal Immigrant Contractor Disclosure Certification. Bid and Performance Bonds are required, with specific bonding amounts and conditions. Vehicles must be delivered fully serviced, cleaned, inspected, and include manufacturer literature and operator's manuals. The contract allows for cooperative purchasing by other tax-supported entities in Arkansas under the same terms and pricing at the vendors' discretion. The vehicles must meet detailed ARDOT specifications for engine displacement, GVWR, transmission, axle ratios, braking systems, cab features, seating, air conditioning, lighting, tires, fuel capacity, color (Sherwin Williams F8W2030 Frost White Acrylic Enamel or equivalent), and other equipment. The contract may be renewed or extended within Arkansas State Procurement Law limits.
