Development and facilitation of designed workshop for LA County DPH SWBC To further these efforts, OVP, in collaboration with the School Wellbeing Centers (SWbC), is partnering with the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) to deliver a specialized virtual training series. AAS will conduct a two-day, 3.5-hour workshop, Suicide Prevention: Considerations for Special Populations, offered twice on June 11 and 12, 2026. This training is tailored to the needs of SWbC staff and partners and emphasizes practical, evidence-based suicide prevention strategies for youth-serving professionals.
