Description
This project aims to examine whether PDGF signaling promotes adhesion formation by activating actin assembly and inducing MRTFs and YAP1 activity. Using in vivo cell ablation techniques in PDGFR+ cells in mice, molecular characterization via NuTrap technology, and validation in patient tissues, the study seeks to uncover molecular mechanisms driving adhesion formation. Insights gained may lead to novel approaches to prevent or reduce adhesions and fibrosis.
