SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF LUBRICANTS

The City of McAllen issued a supply contract solicitation for lubricants with electronic bid submissions due by August 10, 2017. Bids will be publicly opened and the city reserves the right to accept the most advantageous bid. A pre-bid conference was scheduled for August 1, 2017.

Description

Bids addressed to Roel “Roy” Rodriguez, P.E., City Manager, City of McAllen, will be received electronically on August 10, 2017 until 4:00 p.m., at which time such bids shall be unlocked in a public meeting held in Conference Room 2A (2nd Floor) of McAllen City Hall. The names of responding companies will be announced. Bid tabulations showing actual bid prices will be provided later. All electronic bid submissions must be posted on the City of McAllen’s bidding portal (www.ebidexchange.com/mcallen) on or before the deadline. Potential bidders are required to go online to the bidding portal for project details and bid submission. Bids are to be submitted electronically only. First-time users should click on the Login button, use their email under the “Forgot Password” area to receive a temporary password, then set a new password. Bidders can enter their bid prices under the “Solicitation” tab, select the project, and submit. Questions should be posted on the bidding portal under the “Questions” tab for the project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, or accept the most advantageous bid. Bids will be held for 60 days. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for August 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in Conference Room 2A of McAllen City Hall.
