Description
This project aims to determine the function of Treg-derived Mmp12 in the resolution of inflammation during ALI induced by LPS or influenza. It will compare parameters of inflammation and repair in mice with Tregs lacking Mmp12 (TregMmp12-/-) to those with wild-type Tregs. Additionally, it will identify substrates of extracellular Treg-derived Mmp12 using N-TAIL proteomics, measure Mmp12 protein concentration, and analyze the heterogeneity of Mmp12 expression among Treg subsets.
