Description
CIC::DUX4 sarcoma, the most common of the Ewing sarcoma family of tumors that is negative for the canonical t(11;22) translocation, has a strong predilection for metastasis, a high rate of chemotherapy resistance, and a dismal prognosis. The project combines human and mouse sarcoma models with genomic and proteomic technologies to understand the molecular oncologic drivers of this lethal disease.
