5YR. INTERNAL WET SYSTEM + BACKFLOW PREVENTER - - In accordance with NFPA-25, we will perform five-year internal inspection for (1) Wet system, (1) Fire Department Connection, (1) Backflow Preventer. JUSTIFICATION: This scope of work includes internally inspecting all alarm valves, dry pipe valves, riser check valves and their associated strainers, filters, and restricted orifices. In some instances, the valve clapper will be removed to properly clean inside the valving. We will also replace (2) water gauge, internally inspect any wafer or grooved FDC check valves, Internally inspect the interior of the Backflow Preventer, internally inspect one main and one branch line for each system.
