Description
This research project aims to repurpose soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) agonists, already in clinical trials for vasodilation therapy in cardiovascular diseases, to treat airway obstruction in early-life RSV bronchiolitis by promoting airway relaxation. The project will evaluate the efficacy and safety of FDA-approved or late-stage sGC agonists for bronchodilation in RSV-infected pediatric airways.
